Head of Economic Development
Responsibilities

• Manage projects to attract and/or retain businesses, promoting job creation and sustainable growth for client organizations.
• Support development and execute economic development strategic project plans aligned with client organizational goals.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify economic trends, company prospect opportunities, challenges, etc.
• Manage and execute multi-channel client project execution communications, including, but not limited to, phone, email, social media, etc.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact, including resolving project-related issues, conflicts, or challenges in a timely manner
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project specifications
• Qualify client company prospects to evaluate suitability for client’s region and value proposition
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and change requests
• Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project expectations are met.
• Attend tradeshows, conferences, industry events, and related functions to support client, if required
• Ensure overall client satisfaction and support strategic sales renewal initiatives to drive LotusFDI growth within defined geographic territory.

• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to align project execution initiatives with overall LotusFDI objectives.
• Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as needed to contribute to the overall success of economic development projects and support the objectives of LotusFDI
Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in related field.
• Min 3 years’ experience in economic development or related fields, with a track record of successful projects and initiatives.
• Min. 1 year proven experience in a client facing role
• Strong understanding of economic trends, global business environments
• Excellent analytical, communication, and consultancy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
